Rislone Cooling System Supplement Radiator Stop Leak Tablets inhibit the formation of rust and scale, neutralize pH imbalance, control electrolysis, lubricate and seal internal, external and coolant-to-oil leaks. Same formula tablets as used by many OEM auto and truck manufacturers around the world. Rislone Radiator Stop Leak is designed to enhance the use of antifreeze or can be used in water. When used in water alone, it is also recommended to use a cooling system anti-rust and water pump lube.

Dosage & Directions

Dosage
One package treats systems up to 15 litres. For larger systems use 1 tablet for each 3 litres of cooling system capacity.

For continued protection of the entire cooling system, repeat Rislone application every 25,000 kilometers or once per year.

Directions
Cooling systems that are dirty or partially clogged should be flushed before usage.

1. Remove radiator cap when engine is cool.
2. Tablets may be crumbled or pre-dissolved (use warm tap water) for easier application. Install one tablet for each 3 litres of cooling system capacity. If vehicle does not have a regular radiator cap, remove top hose where it attaches to radiator and install tablets in hose and then reinstall hose.
3. Fill radiator and reservoir to proper level.
4. Reinstall radiator cap.
5. Drive/idle engine for 15 minutes at normal operating temperature.
6. If leak persists, a second application may be necessary.

Rislone Radiator Stop Leak Tablets will seal external, internal and coolant to oil leaks. Once installed, the Rislone Radiator Stop Leak Tablets particles shrink up to 15 percent. On an external leak, the tiny particles flow to the point of the leak. They then collect at the outside of the seepage and build inward. Internal leaks, the Rislone Radiator Stop Leak Tablets particles will burn when subjected to the 2750° C heat of the combustion chamber to seal seepage and small cracks. On coolant to oil leaks, where coolant can seep into the crankcase contaminating the oil, the tiny Rislone Radiator Stop Leak Tablets particles will seal the pores in cast iron and aluminum preventing seepage.

How long does it take for the Rislone Radiator Stop Leak Tablets to work?
We recommend you drive/idle vehicle for 15 to 20 minutes. In most cases the leak will be sealed within this amount of time. If the leak is not sealed, a second application may be required.

Can Rislone Radiator Stop Leak Tablets be installed in existing antifreeze?
Yes, this product is specifically designed to be directly added to the cooling system without having to flush out the antifreeze.

This is one of the few products ideally suited for use with waterless coolants, like Evans brand, as it does not contain water. When using with this type of coolant, do not pre-dissolve the tablets in water.

Will Rislone Radiator Stop Leak Tablets plug my heater core?
No, the tiny particles will pass through a 24-gauge mesh screen which is the specification for the BIG 3 car/truck manufacturers. They say that any product installed in the cooling system must pass through this screen. Rislone Radiator Stop Leak Tablets are one of only a few stop leak products to pass this test and to be approved by the vehicle manufacturers. Note: If using Rislone Radiator Stop Leak Tablets to stop heater core leaks, make sure you turn your heater control to HOT. Some vehicles have a valve that controls coolant flow through the core.
