Rislone® Cooling System Repair has twice the performance of other products by not only stopping cooling system leaks, but adding future protection. It is scientifically formulated to stop coolant leaks, thereby reducing antifreeze loss, while correcting other cooling system problems helping to prevent costly repairs and breakdowns. In addition, Cooling System Repair contains Xtreme Cool™ which stops overheating and reduces water temperature. Works on all 4, 6, 8, and 10 cylinder vehicles and in any petrol, LPG, turbocharged and diesel engines. Use with ALL types and colours of 50-50 mix antifreeze coolant and / or water. For most vehicles leaks stop instantly. For many vehicles, this is your last chance before paying an expensive repair bill or replacing the vehicle.

XTREME COOL™

Xtreme Cool™ reduces the surface tension of coolant increasing the wetting ability. This improves heat transfer reducing coolant temperature helping to prevent overheating and leaks.

DOSAGE: 
1 bottle treats up to 16 litres.
For small systems use half (of each side) of the bottle.

DISPOSAL:
Observe local laws and regulations. Where permitted, dispose of in sanitary sewer systems. Never pour onto the ground or storm sewer system.

NOTE:
Cooling systems that are dirty or partially clogged should be flushed before usage.Protect from freezing.

DIRECTIONS:

  • Install only in a cold engine. Shake well.
  • Pour entire contents of the 2-chamber bottle directly into the radiator. If direct access to radiator is not available, install in overflow tank.
  • Fill radiator and overflow tank to proper level and reinstall cap.
  • Drive/idle engine for 15 minutes. If leak continues, second application may be required or mechanical attention is needed.
  • Leave Cooling System Repair in cooling system for continued protection.

DANGER:
Opening cooling system while engine is hot or running may cause severe burns.

Can Rislone® Cooling System Repair be installed in existing antifreeze coolant?
Yes, Cooling System Repair is specifically designed to be directly added to the cooling system without having to flush out the antifreeze. It also can be used in water alone. NOTE: Cooling systems that are dirty or partially clogged should be flushed before usage.

Do I need to drain my cooling system after using Cooling System Repair?
No, this product is designed to be left in the cooling system to protect from future leaks and overheating.

Can I install Cooling System Repair in my overflow reservoir?
Yes, if direct access to the radiator cap is not available, install in overflow tank.

Will it work in the new extended life antifreeze?
Yes, Cooling System Repair is compatible with ALL types of coolant including yellow, orange, pink, red, blue and green silicate based & non-silicate based OAT / HOAT antifreeze and / or water.

Will this work in both domestic and import cars and trucks?
Yes, Cooling System Repair will work in all types of water cooled vehicles.

How long does it take to see results?
We recommend you drive/idle the vehicle for 15 minutes. In most cases the leak will be sealed instantly, but others will require up to 20 minutes. If the leak is not sealed in 20 minutes, a second application may be required or mechanical repair may be needed.

Will Cooling System Repair plug my heater core?
No, Rislone® Cooling System Repair product is part of the next generation stop leak line which is certified to be used in all cooling system types. Safely and easily seal leaks in plastic, aluminum and metal (copper / steel) radiators, heater cores, gaskets and freeze plugs. Note: If using Rislone® to stop heater core leaks, make sure you turn your heater control to HOT. Some vehicles have a valve that controls coolant flow through the core and is only opened in the HOT position.

What are the dosage recommendations?
Use 1 (one) bottle for regular size cooling systems, this covers most 4, 6, 8 and 10 cylinder engines. For larger systems, use 1 (one) bottle for every 15 Litres of cooling system capacity.

For small cooling systems under 5.67L use half of each side of the bottle.
